Teen Miss South Carolina Earth USA
As a sophomore at Wando High School Vera is enrolled in all honors classes. She is also a dedicated member of the Gifted and Talented Arts program and a valued member of the Bella Voce Women's Choir.
Accomplishments:
- Vera spearheaded and orchestrated a reading fundraiser for a Title 1 school, culminating in the gathering of $4,000 in contributions, providing every child three books of their very own.
- She is a two-time recipient of the Gold Presidential Service Award.
- Vera enjoys playing the flute and is a South Carolina Bands of America Regional Marching Champion.
- She is also a two-time South Carolina High School State Marching Band Champion.
- Chosen as a Featured Soloist for the Bella Voce Women's Choir.
- She is a South Carolina Concert Choir All-State finalist.
- For half a decade, Vera has been actively involved with the two-week long summer experience Camp Chatuga, and was selected to be a Leader In Training in 2023, and received an invitation to return in the leadership role as a Service Camper for 2024
