Since winning her State title in May 2022, Kendra has completed hundreds of hours of community service, living the USOA mission with purpose every day. Her commitment earned her the prestigious Silver Presidential Service Award ??? — thanks in large part to her advocacy through The Sparkle Project:
What is The Sparkle Project?
A movement Kendra founded to raise awareness for invisible illnesses and disabilities, where she donates custom, bedazzled canes to individuals with mobility challenges—turning a symbol of struggle into one of confidence, power, and pride.
From Trauma to Triumph
Five years ago, a devastating car accident changed Kendra’s life forever, resulting in spinal surgeries and a daily battle with chronic pain. For someone whose life was once rooted in athleticism and strength, the shift was profound. But in that loss, she found her purpose.
Pageantry gave Kendra a platform to reclaim her power — and to prove that strength, beauty, and leadership don’t come from perfection, but from perseverance. Her journey is a testament to courage in the face of chronic pain and transformation through vulnerability.

For nearly a decade, Kendra has coached youth basketball, with a special focus on empowering young girls to lead both on and off the court. She teaches that success is found not just in winning, but in teamwork, discipline, and heart. ❤️?
