KENDRA HALE - Style Spokesperson
Kendra Hale grew up in Christiansburg, Virginia. She graduated as valedictorian from Christiansburg High School and the Southwest Virginia Governor’s School. Currently a rising Senior at Virginia Tech, Kendra is pursuing a dual-degree in Environmental Policy and Planning and Public and Urban Affairs with a minor in Leadership and Social Change. She is active within the Virginia Tech Honors College, as well as various service organizations such as the Open Hands Book Project, Butterfly Hugs, Knit A Square, and Give Kids the World – just to name a few!
Having held multiple state and national titles, Kendra has spent many years as both a contestant and a titleholder. In March 2017, Kendra won the title of USA National Miss Virginia. She then went on to win the national title of USA National Miss 2017. During her year with UNM, she served over 1,000 hours and traveled over 40,000 miles to over 20 states and 4 countries. Kendra enjoyed her year of service with UNM’s national platform, Crown C.A.R.E.S. and her personal platform, Healing Hearts.
